Flat Holm Island

Flat Holm Island

Flat Holm is a nature reserve and site of historic landmarks, just 4 miles off the coast of Barry. The Flat Holm project aims to bring the island to communities who may not have the opportunity to visit through engaging and interactive workshops in schools and community hubs.

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help inspire young people and communities through telling the stories of Flat Holm. You will be leading workshops based around our incredible built history and our efforts to conserve the amazing wildlife we share the island with. To register your interest or to find our more, please email Sarah: sarah.morgan5@cardiff.gov.uk

To find out more about Flat Holm and our work, please visit our blog: https://flatholmisland.wordpress.com/ and check out our social media: @Flatholm on Facebook, on Twitter @Flatholmers or on Instagram: @FlatHolmIsland.

A massive thank you to our funders at the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the National Lottery players, who make all our work possible.
