Having given up much of her time outside of work, PCSO Rhiannon Cummings decided that she wanted to gift forward the rewards both her and her husband received through volunteering via Value in the Vale.
National Coastwatch Institution – St Donats Bay is an organisation that PCSO Cummings works closely with, so gifting forward to their volunteers was important to her.
The NCI (National Coastwatch Institution) is a voluntary charity which assists in the protection and preservation of life at sea and around the UK coastline by providing what it calls eyes along the coast.

The St Donats Bay station is manned by volunteers from the local community, College staff and students making it unique within the NCI.
PCSO Cummings explained, “I have earned these rewards whilst volunteering at the Crawshay Court Community Garden and would like to gift them forward to show my appreciation”.

She added:
“I would like to present these rewards as thank you for your service as a National Coast Watch volunteer. The hours that you donate are invaluable to help keep visitors to the Vale coastline safe”.
