Exciting news!!!
We have been working with a number of volunteers who have accumulated rewards that they would like to gift to the local community.
Ty Iolo in Barry was the first organisation to benefit from gifted rewards. Ty Iolo provides accommodation for individuals facing homelessness in a 21-room complex. Each room has its own bathroom, and four rooms are equipped with disabled access. The facility also includes a lounge and a large kitchen. In this ‘gift it forward’ campaign, volunteers could contribute unused rewards to a central pool, benefiting Ty Iolo Hostel in Barry. These rewards offered struggling families free activities to enjoy during the Easter holidays and helped alleviate the cost-of-living crisis.
Due to the success of this first Gift It Forwards Campaign, we would like to offer all volunteers the opportunity to gift their rewards forward to deserving causes within the Vale of Glamorgan.
