This week Vale Homes residents at Fairoaks held a summer barbecue. Set within the grounds of their beautiful garden, surrounded by the wonderful scent of roses, it really was a time to relax and soak up the sun.
Special thanks were given to Pat, Nichola (H) Sharon, Lawrence and Paul, three residents who volunteered their time and were instrumental in the development of the space from the start. Also, thanks to funding via the Vale Local Nature Partnership, Value in the Vale were able to present them with a bug hotel, hedgehog house and some guidebooks to further enhance the area.
