Ysgol y Deri are a Penarth based school for children and young people aged 3-19 with additional learning needs. Under our umbrella we also have Derw Newydd in Barry, a school for pupils aged 11-16 with social, emotional and mental health needs.

Our curriculum is based on providing opportunities and removing barriers. As part of this we have an emphasis on Careers and Work-Related Experiences. We are always looking for work placement/volunteering opportunities in order to give pupils access to their local community, whilst showcasing their abilities and making a difference and giving back.
