We are developing a Digital Buddies Team, to help Residents throughout the Vale of Glamorgan.

Aims and Objectives

To help our Tenants & Residents in the use of Mobile Phone, Tablet, Laptop, Computers and Printers. To help them be more confident in using the technology available today.

We are looking for Volunteers to join our team who have a good understanding and knowledge in digital equipment and are enthusiastic in helping and teaching others.

This can include:

•  Helping to set up a mobile phone, tablet or laptop.
•  Creating an email address and how to use it.
•  Using the Internet for shopping, browsing, even watching You-Tube
•  Making posters for scheme events / outings, cards (birthday, Christmas)
•  Photography and projects.

These are just a few ideas, as you know the list could be endless with your help we can all improve our knowledge and skills to help others.

Full training is available to refresh skills and improve confidence via Digital Communities Wales. These will be fully funded therefore at no cost to yourselves.
